Austen Ater, Certified Arborist

Austen began his climbing career working for a company that focused primarily on spur-less climbing techniques and fine ornamental pruning.  He then worked for a large tree service, in which the majority of their work consisted of technical tree removals that were in close proximity to existing structures and landscaping.  The experience Austen was able to gain while working there proved to be quite valuable.  Each day they encountered many different work scenarios, each presenting their own unique challenge to be solved.  Safety and efficiency became two foundation stones that make up every job that Austen performs.  

Austen has now worked as a professional climber for 15 years.  With a balance of quality care, thoughtfulness, and a can do attitude when the situation calls for it, Ascend Tree Service provides the best all around tree care in the Treasure Valley.  

Austen loves to spend his free time with his wife and children, exploring the mountains and rivers, and just having fun as a family!
